Work from 3 of the country's most innovative turned wood artists;
Ben Carpenter, Cliff Johns and Terry Ramos.

"Lunar Escape"
Ben Carpenter

Ben combines turned works with carved and sculpted elements of contrasting woods. His organic shapes and delicately balanced pieces seem to have a life of their own, both alien and familiar.

Glass and Ebony Vase
Terry Ramos

Terry's unique work combines hand blown glass and turned wood. The results are the best of both mediums, with the contrasting materials beautifully merged into one.

Norfolk Pine Platter
Cliff Johns

Cliff utilizes woods found in his home islands of Hawaii to create big, translucent pieces. Cliff pioneered a method of impregnating the wood with oil so that light passes through the thinner sections of the wood to dazzling effect.
