Description:
The Akira table and chairs are constructed with coopered, tapered panels that are then joined with spined miter joinery. The Akira series is named after contemporary origami master Yoshizawa Akira who broke tradition by incorporating curves into his folded paper pieces using a wet folding technique.
This desk is made from spalted cherry and jatoba.
