Description:
The Shinto bed originates from a concept driven design. The challenge was to create a platform bed reminiscent of the Japanese Tori arch used in ceremonial gates. As in the Tori tradition, this design's overall light and uplifted appearance contrasts with the massive proportions of the supporting structure.
