The back of this cherry rocker provides good lumbar and shoulder support. The seat is carefully angled in relationship to the back. The rocking action is "light and long." "Long" means the rocking action remains easy and balanced whether a shorter person is rocking forward on the runners or a taller person is rocking at the back of the runners.
