Northwest Fine Woodworking is proud to be hosting the 32nd Annual Box Show.  This beloved showcase has become a holiday tradition for Seattle locals as well as collectors from around the world.  Held during the months of November and December, past box show submissions have made stunning holiday gifts!

As always this year's show will be a competition with cash prizes being awarded by our jury panel and the public voting for the coveted "People's Choice Award".  Designs that are stunning, outlandish and exquisite as well as finely crafted traditional jewelry boxes comprise a worthy distraction during the holiday season.

Rising Stars 3rd Annual

Rising Star Furniture
is a juried show, highlighting the work of non-member studio furniture makers... the region's next generation of talented wood-artists.

Click here to see more of this show.

To be considered for participation, artists submit up to three designs for review by our jury. Items must be finely crafted artisan furniture, new to our gallery and utilizing primarily wood in the design. Pieces are selected for their innovative, contemporary, refined quality. Though artistic in nature, each piece is a fully functional furniture piece, destined to become a beloved heirloom.

The show opens Thursday July 7th 2011 in conjunction with Pioneer Square's First Thursday Artwalk festivities. NWFW will host an evening reception at the gallery from 5-8pm for the artists, family & friends and the public. The furniture will be presented with a critique from the jury and one artist will be awarded honorable mention plus be invited to participate in the NWFW Annual Member Showcase “The Woodworker’s Touch” in September 2011.
